After seven years as president of Georgia's Crime Victim Advocacy Counsel, Melvin Hewitt Jr. assumes the role of president emeritus and is appointed as Chair of CVAC's Advisory Council.
Members of the Georgia State Bar have re-elected Isenberg & Hewitt attorney Harriet C. Isenberg as Co-Chair of the Creditor's Rights Section. The Creditor's Rights Section is focused on educating and serving Georgia attorneys in this area of law.
Melvin L. Hewitt, Jr. re-elected to the board of directors of the National Center for Victims of Crime headquartered in Washington, D.C. and elected as Treasurer. Hewitt remains an active member of the National Crime Victim's bar association.
