Avoiding injuries while walking in icy conditions

Temperatures rarely drop below freezing in Georgia even during the coldest winter months, and residents of the Peach State are often unprepared on the rare occasions when snow does fall and ice forms. Even an inch or two of snow can cause Georgia highways to slow to a crawl, and a thin layer of ice can make walking on the state's sidewalks and driveways extremely treacherous.

Accidents and crimes in poorly lit areas

Some Georgia stores and apartment complexes do not have adequate lighting, which leads to people being injured or assaulted while they are on the premises. If you have been seriously injured in an accident or an assault on a property that was caused by poor lighting, you may have legally ground claims that you may file against the owner or operator.

When people are attacked in motels or hotels

In Georgia, some people have been assaulted when they are staying in motels or hotels. If you are one of them, you may believe that the establishment will be willing to step forward and agree to pay for your resulting losses, including your medical bills, lost wages and others that you incurred as a result of the attack on its property. Unfortunately, hotels and motels often try to evade their responsibilities to their guests who are assaulted during their stays.

Small business owners often deal with customers who don't pay

You have worked hard to make your small business a success. The sacrifices of time and money were worth it because your business now has a positive reputation in Georgia and a growing client base. Still, you have financial obligations: bills, debts, payroll, insurance, materials, etc. You depend on your customers to pay their bills on time. When they don't, it becomes a hardship.
