Hector Cora was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1993, receiving his undergraduate degree (B.B.B Accounting 1990) and law degree (Juris Doctor, 1993) from Georgia State University. Hector’s practice focuses on Immigration Law, Personal Injury, including victims of violent offenses, and Workers’ Compensation.
Representing numerous clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, Hector has obtained favorable results including Lawful Permanent Residency and dismissal of cases seeking removal.
Hector has obtained favorable results for clients who were victims of violent crimes, including U-Visas, Lawful Permanent Residency and money damages. He also represents injured persons in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases in various courts throughout the Southeastern U.S.
Being fluent in Spanish, Hector has spoken at various conferences on various areas of Immigration Law, including how victims of violent crimes can obtain permanent residency in the United States and pursue claims against those that can be held responsible for injuries from violent offenses.
