Ms. Isenberg established herself in the business community as the principal of her own real estate investment company, and later in the management of local and regional operations for several national, publicly-held corporations.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Hewitt spent six years in public law enforcement and later began a 17-year career in the private security industry. He brings considerable corporate and business experience to the firm, having served as the vice-president of operations, general counsel and ultimately president of one of the largest, publicly-traded, private security companies in the world with over 13,000 employees and more than 100 offices throughout the United States and Europe.

Because of the firm's vast corporate experience, Isenberg & Hewitt initially attracted a solid commercial client base - in particular the range of businesses and vendors serving the multi-family housing and construction industries. Today, Ms. Isenberg is one of Atlanta's best known and notable lawyers in the area of commercial litigation, debt collection and creditor's rights; she leads the firm's Business Litigation & Corporate Collections Group.

In the early 90s, a number of the firm's corporate clients sought counsel from Isenberg &Hewitt when they, or their loved ones, had been seriously injured or victimized by a violent crime. This growing need for personal injury lawyers proved to be the perfect continuation of Mr. Hewitt's law enforcement and private security heritage.
