Allison L. Byrd obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina in 1992 and joined the State Bar of Georgia that year. After several years of private practice in the areas of civil insurance defense, probate law, domestic law, and criminal defense in the Augusta Judicial Circuit, she served for five years an Assistant Solicitor-General for Fulton County, prosecuting criminal cases.
She also served as an Assistant County Attorney for DeKalb County and clerked for a Fulton County State Court judge, before returning to private practice in 2003. She joined Isenberg & Hewitt, P.C. in 2006 to focus her practice on commercial debt litigation and contract law, representing corporate and individual creditors in various State and Superior courts in Georgia. She is a member of the Creditor's Rights section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Sandy Springs Bar Association.
